Synopsis

Advent is a time of expectant waiting, holy anticipation, leaning in, and preparing for what is to come. Of course, Christmas marks the arrival of our Savior. In the Gospels, we discover Jesus coming to earth in what is perhaps the most unusual and unexpected way… as a baby, born to an unwed teenage mom, in a small town’s barn because there was no vacancy at the inn. This Advent devotional book attempts to highlight some of the less obvious circumstances and situations in which we discover God at work. It’s about finding God – anticipating, looking for, expecting, and awaiting him in unexpected places.
