About the Author

Dr Lee E J Styger is Executive MBA Director at the Sydney Business School. Lee has over three decades of international experience as a business leader, both in professional and private practice. In a career that transitioned early from designing the products companies sell to designing and reconfiguring the companies that sell the products, Lee has worked for very large, global industry leading organisations as well as very small start-ups. Lee is also an educator, academic, engineer and author of a number of books. Known as a creative thinker in professional practice and something of a subversive thinker by many in academia, Lee's work revolves around developing clever and creative people to challenge conventional thinking through applying methods of examination and understanding, along with theory, to improve their own practices and achieve their intended outcomes. In addition to his work in business management and innovation, Lee is a named inventor on a number of patents in advanced technology areas diversifying across 3D printing to knowledge transfer and creative problem solving systems. Along with research interests in business ecosystems, complexity, change optimisation, differentiation and value creation, Lee's recent academic interests include complete curriculum overviews and the design, development and implementation of new Masters level business degrees and international education programs. Lee's scholarly output includes numerous keynote addresses to national and international audiences and over eighty blind peer reviewed or peer reviewed papers through editorial panels.
