Trillium...is a wonderful collection of poems created at an Elderhostel Workshop sponsored by Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. The workshop was coordinated and facilitated by educator Maxine A. Browne with collaboration from local artist Emily Bourne Grigsby. Ms. Grigsby is known for her work in oils and other media throughout the world. The seniors listened to poetry read by Ms. Browne while they viewed and studied art by Ms. Grigsby. Seniors donated their poems for inclusion in this vibrant collection of poetry edited by Maxine A. Browne.

About the Author

Maxine A. Browne worked as an educator for over 25 years having a passion for writing, especially poetry. She has published 149 Palmer Street, Akron, Ohio..."The Way We Were," and a genealogy book. Her poetry has appeared in several anthologies, and she has written cover stories and articles dealing with nature and the human spirit. Her hobbies include rescuing feral cats and kittens and being an avid Birder.
