About the Author

CHRISTOPHER J. ROE — PAINTER/POET I have been painting for over forty years and writing seriously for five years. After a forty-four year career in advertising as an award winning art director and graphic designer, I retired and moved to Warren to pursue my art and writing full time. I have written twenty-four volumes of poetry as well as my memoir, Dead Rainbows. My poems have appeared in; PoetryMagazine.com, Vox Poetica, The Monarch Review, The Forge Journal, Apollo's Lyre, Black Heart Magazine and Your Daily Poem among others. I run a monthly poetry workshop at the Hail library in Warren. I was a Pushcart Prize nominee and am currently working on my 28th book of poetry. My current art project is the painting of informal portraits of local characters and plein air paintings of local scenes for a show entitled, Warren; Faces and Places, that I hope to complete in the next few months. My paintings are in private collections in the U.S., Canada, Australia and Europe. I live in both Warren, Rhode Island and the moment.
