Well being is desirable and many seek to achieve that state. Th is book is about well being through individual empowerment from remembering of our strengths as both a physical and spiritual being. Th is remembering is a process of putting the parts of self back together as our narrative that has meaning as forming ourselves from experiences of the past and purpose in our goals for the future that regenerate us in the present. Meditation is central to this as a process that integrates lifestyle, beliefs and goals and deepens as old symbols of soul, Spirit and Creator have new meaning, outcomes for our well being are experienced and we are aware of it happening. Self healing occurs in awareness of our wholeness. Spiritual healing occurs in awareness of our unity with our environment as an energy fi eld we are interacting with. In this vision of self we are individually empowered in creating our experiences and collectively transformation is experienced as a renaissance of culture and way forward to an Age of Aquarius where in the consciousness of the transformative vision of our wholeness and unity, our energy fi eld is working for us.

Terry Clancy worked as a mental health nurse for thirty-eight years. He began his career with hospital-based training in the days of the mental asylum with large wards, many patients, and rigid routines. His work with people living with schizophrenia, mood disorders, depression, and anxiety convinced him that there must be another way to assist them in achieving freedom from mental distress. He completed a nursing management degree in 1985 and worked as a senior nursing manager for twenty-five years, contributing to the introduction of nursing models within new models of service delivery designed to empower patients and build hope. However, it was his direct work with patients that completed his education. He describes this learning as a process of self-development that each of us can do through reflection. Today, he is retired and lives in his retreat in the beautiful eucalypt forest of the ranges of the Sunshine Coast. His interests include music, playing classical guitar, enjoying stimulating company, writing, environmentalism, reading, listening to ABC Radio Classic Drive, cooking, 4WDriving, family and self-development. His future goals include travelling to inspiring places and meeting inspirational people and communicating better with others.
