Synopsis
Dr. Grace Taylor's heart grows more fearful every day. She thought coming to Hart Hill, Tennessee from Boston would ensure a new life for her and her son Jacob, away from her cheating, abusive ex-husband. But Grace's sullied past means she has to fight for sole custody. Meanwhile, Jacob's anxiety has made him fail state tests, despite his intelligence. He's attending summer school and in danger of repeating fourth grade. Grace has no idea how to help. She needs divine intervention, but she never expected it to embody a second chance at love. Chris Anderson swore off mainstream teaching after a classroom tragedy left scars on his body and heart. About the Author
Stephanie McCall is an English teacher with two Master of Arts degrees from Western Carolina University, one of which has a professional writing concentration. She also has a B.A. in Religious Studies. She lives in North Carolina with her parents and younger brother, where she enjoys reading, writing (and discussing her writing), and participating in Bible studies, prison ministry, and her church’s drama team.
