Synopsis

A car crashes into a swollen brook. The baby stirs within the mother's womb. Thus it begins...a story of love, forgiveness, audacity, mercy, heartache. After a scheming and drunken father accidently knocks over his daughter's casket and a baby doll rolls out, the police in a small Pennsylvania town seek to find the body and the perpetrators of the hoax, or is it murder, or a kidnapping? Along the way, they uncover a clandestine organization that was formed and financed to save lives that are incurable, inoperable, and doomed to death. The Resurrection Network is an organization with branches reaching into the halls of government and the medical community itself. A story destined to create a dialogue into the meaning and purpose of a terminally ill patient and the definition of 'quality of life', this tale tugs at the heart of compassion while realistically seeks to understand the motives for one definition: love.
