About the Author

Roshan Ahmed is a Reiki Master of the Usui System and has been a practitioner for over 20 years. Originally from Kenya, she moved to the United Kingdom in the early 70's. Roshan is a co-founder and remains a core member of the International Board of Trustees for Environmental Foundation for Africa. Her deep concern and empathy for the plight of the under-privileged continues to strongly influence the vision and mission of EFA; in empowering people in the rural communities and protect the integrity of nature in Africa. As a spiritual aspirant, she is always seeking opportunities to support the work in Africa especially related to the integration of spiritual values in our environmental awareness and education outreach projects.
