Carlos V. Cornejo is a native of San Francisco, California, and now a resident of Redwood City, California. He is a family man with adult children and growing grandchildren. He is a retired school superintendent from San Francisco's school district. He still retains his love for teaching and interacting with others of all ages. After military service and also traveling much of the world, he now spends his time puttering in the garden, overseeing his small vegetable garden and potted plants.
