About the Author

Dr. R.C. Courson Jr. is the son of Robert and Wilma Courson of Danville Illinois. Dr. Courson graduated from Catlin High School, and went on to complete his Associate Degree in Liberal Studies at his home town College, D.A.C.C. in Danville, Illinois. Dr. Courson also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Eastern Illinois University, a Bachelor of Ministry Degree in Bible and Evangelism from Crossroads Bible College in Indianapolis Indiana, and his Master and Doctor of Theology Degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla Georgia. Dr. Courson resides in Bedford Indiana with his wife Linda and has four grown and married children and six grandchildren. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, and upon returning home was employed by General Motors Corporation for 22 years, resigning in 2000 to enter the full time ministry. Dr. Courson founded the, "Last Call Crusade" serving as a non-denominational evangelist proclaiming the Gospels Good News of Jesus Christ to impoverished neighborhoods, and conducting church and tent revivals. Dr. Courson currently serves as the senior pastor for the First Church of God in Mitchell Indiana.
