"The purpose is to provide a succinct briefing on clinical management in radiation oncology and in so doing serve as a tool for self assessment. This is a worthy objective, and the book will be appreciated by residents and clinicians. The online version adds minimal added value, but it will be attractive to those interested in electronic access.

This book will be of value to radiation oncology residents and clinicians alike. Residents assessing what they have learned on a clinical service or in preparation for boards will find this book helpful. Likewise, with the shift in maintenance of certification from an every 10-year exam to ongoing clinical assessment evaluations, the book appears to be ideally suited in format to this new knowledge assessment approach. The authors are well respected authorities and contributors include many residents and junior attending physicians.
