About the Author

I am an avid record collector who has acquired thousands of recordings of popular music which encompass the genres of rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass, folk, and others. I am particularly interested in recordings of traditional jazz, blues and country music and the manner in which they have influenced modern pop music. The nearly forty that I have spent in pursuit of this interest compelled me to pen the popular music guides which appear on Amazon, "A Guide to Essential Popular Music-Volume 1" and "A Guide to Essential Popular Music-Volume 2."
