Synopsis

This book introduces concepts in mobile, autonomous robotics to 3rd-4th year students in Computer Science or a related discipline. The book covers principles of robot motion, forward and inverse kinematics of robotic arms and simple wheeled platforms, perception, error propagation, localization and simultaneous localization and mapping. About the Author

Nikolaus Correll is an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Nikolaus obtained a MS degree from ETH Zuerich in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Computer Science from EPFL, Switzerland. Before joining the faculty at CU Boulder, Nikolaus did a post-doc at MIT CSAIL.
