About the Author

JM Lee is currently a 17 year old author. She started writing When October Ends when she was 12, finished it when she was 13, and finally self-published it when she was 14—ironically, at the end of October. “I don’t really know why I like to write,” she says during a radio interview, “I guess I like it because it allows me to get away from all the crazy stuff that happens in the world and it allows me to express myself.” The revised edition of book 2, Chasing, will be available in January of 2014. The third and final book of the Novus Proprius Chronicles, Novus Orsa, will be available summer of 2014. JM Lee has plans for many more stories—one of which is a Steampunk paranormal that takes place in Chicago, 1875, entitled Blood and Tears.
