Picked up along the way is Skeet, the old yellow Lab who lives on a sled maker’s farm and is widely known as the only Lab to have ever run in the Iditarod. These three quirky personalities – each with struggles of his own – join forces to mount an adventurous rescue mission that is full of adversity and triumph. As the story unfolds, real-life lessons of self-worth, perseverance, and tolerance of others are revealed. Each of these extraordinary animals possesses a sense of humor about themselves and others, and each uses their imagination to the fullest as they face the world – and the bandits – together.
