About the Author

Sandy Markin is the senior director of supply chain solutions at SAP and the solution owner of SAP Integrated Business Planning. Before SAP IBP, Sandy worked extensively with the design, development, and launch of SAP APO as well as with other supply chain solutions.


Amit Sinha is a leader for SAP supply chain practices at Deloitte Consulting, LLP. He has more than 13 years of experience with business transformation projects using SAP integration technology. He has worked extensively for industry groups across the globe on S&OP, demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization and supply chain analytics. He is an expert in SAP IBP and other SAP supply chain applications. Amit is a trainer and researcher and is also the author of multiple research articles and a text book on supply chain and logistics management.
