Synopsis

The High King, Uther Pendragon, has died, and the remaining kings and clan lords go to war, each contesting for the vacant throne until Merlin issues a mysterious challenge, to reveal the true King. About the Author

N. K. Schlaudecker was born in Metairie, Louisiana, and grew up in Mobile, Alabama. She has always had a passion for storytelling, and has written stories since she was ten. She graduated from the University of South Alabama in 2006 with a B. A. in English literature. In 2009 she received her M. A. in Creative Writing. When she isn’t writing, N. K. spends her time hiking, kayaking, acting, and letting her mind wander into the realms of the next story. Her other works include a co-authored Arthurian collection, The Olde Code, and Mayhawk: Rising.
