Synopsis

Awe-inspiring experiences through the ages for all ages are told as if by the fireside with a grandmother or grandfather sharing secret pearls from heart to heart.See from their eyes a life led by mysteries, by vision, by direct insight and by stories from their elders to them, now passed on to you. It's a call from the sky, from the drumbeat of the Earth. It's a song from the bird as a messenger from Beyond inviting us all to remember our common heritage of spirit, of consciousness, of infinite possibilities. It's a call to gather together once again as a community, as a global family in an understanding of how it all weaves together in one Great Tapestry.Meet fourteen powerful spokespersons representing a variety of dynamic cultures as near as your backyard and as far as Papua New Guinea and Latvia. Some have remained in their ancestral lands and cultural heritage, others left and returned. Some were born into a completely different background offering a modern-day silver spoon, but resonated with and were initiated into the gifts of a more traditional culture. Listen as key issues about sustainability and relating to the environment are discussed from a perspective that is fresh although ancient, tried and true; a perspective that solves the issues through preventing them. Hear how the personal journeys they share inspires and reminds you of your own; how they touch upon murmurings of the depths of your own heritage and point to the treasures that still vibrate in the cells of your being.
