He is an Adjunct Instructor at Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College and is passionate about education and teaching students software development. Simon St.Laurent is Senior Editor at O'Reilly Media, Inc., focusing primarily on JavaScript and web-related projects. He is co-chair of the Fluent and OSCON conferences. He's authored or coauthored books including Introducing Elixir, Introducing Erlang, Learning Rails 3, XML Pocket Reference, Third Edition,, XML: A Primer, and Cookies. Edd Dumbill is a technologist, writer and programmer based in California. He is the program chair for the O'Reilly Strata and Open Source Convention Conferences.
