Synopsis

This is a book of poetry that had its origins almost twenty years ago. Largely tongue-in-cheek, humorous, lyrical, formal and free, I have tried to preserve the youthful exuberance characteristic of those early years, while reworking some of it for dignity's sake. Maturity is a beautiful thing. I'd like to think I have acquired some by now.

Brian Paul Allison is a freelance artist who has also been a fitness trainer at a Fancy Health Club/Resort Spa for many years. As a modern renaissance man, exercise arts such as dance and martial arts are part of his integrative approach.
