This is a book of 'wit and wisdom' expressed in lyrical poetry. My poems will get stuck in your head. They will make you laugh, nod your head, and soften your heart. I write for adults of all ages about a variety of universal subjects. Some of my humorous offerings include replacing a car, being a dog's best friend, making a will, and keeping a secret. When I'm not trying to be funny, I try to share some seasoned insights on life, love and loss. Some of these selections include coping with change, being married, visiting prison, losing parents, and pondering purpose & faith. The purpose of my poetry is to celebrate the brotherhood of man and what we share that unifies us.

About the Author

Jeff Simonson left his unsatisfying engineering career behind at age 44, to find deeper purpose. To his own surprise, he began writing poetry during this difficult transition. He spent time returning to school, volunteering, performing home projects and investing in real estate. Throughout all these endeavors, he continued to write poetry about his experiences and perceptions. Now, at age 59, he has organized his efforts and decided to share his poems by publishing his first book.
