Typical books for young Aspies may be valuable, especially for kids who want to fit in - but they might lack some of the information that I needed to know as a young Aspie. I didn't need a guide on how to integrate with the majority. The knowledge that I needed was, and is, very unpopular - and that kind of knowledge isn't always approved of by parents, therapists and teachers. This booklet is intended to function as a supplement. These letters to my younger self consist of the blunt, unpopular truth that I desperately needed to know. These are the things that I had to learn the hard way. If I could have learned them at an earlier age, then I could have been much better prepared for some of the unpleasantries associated with life on the Autism spectrum.
