About the Author

Duane Errol Fleming is a city planner and the author of The Home Ownership Plan to enable young people to buy a home earlier in life. He co-drafted legislation for the plan with Representative Robert Wexler. The bill, Restore the American Dream Act is now sponsored by Representative Ted Deutch, who will advance the bill when the House of Representatives is functional again. This plan was one of the twenty-one finalists out of 22,000 submissions to the national "Since Sliced Bread.com" contest.
