In each episode, they face a variety of everyday problems and challenges in the form of disappointments, failed plans, temptation, unfair treatment, impossible situations, and more. You’ve no doubt experienced many of them yourself. With the help of Pastor Blake, they find a novel way to look at, and deal with, the day-to-day challenges that confront them. It all revolves around what God tells us about himself. He says, “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts and my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9). Here are a few examples of how Denny and Sue find stress relief as they learn these life lessons, (1) How to change your viewpoint, (2) How to deal with disappointments, (3) How to protect your rights, (4) How to find plan B, (5) How to cope with temptation, and (6) How to respond to unfair treatment. About the Author

Allan and his wife Sue both graduated from Bible Schools that are half-a-world apart. Allan traces his roots back to the UK. His grandparents emigrated from there to South Africa in the late nineteenth century. He was born and educated in Cape Town and later moved to Los Angeles, California, where he met his future wife, Sue. She, in turn, is a direct descendant of John and Priscilla Alden who sailed on the Mayflower. They both served Global Recordings Network (GRN) for fifty years and live in California close to their three daughters and grandchildren. Allan is a former International Coordinator of Gospel Recordings (now GRN) and has traveled extensively worldwide.
