Behind the Door

“What have you done with my car?” I screamed. “Who are you people?” I ran inside and the stairs to my bedroom to get my bag, perhaps my receipt was in there. The room was different; my case was no longer there. “My clothes! Where are my clothes?”

What Happens Now?

“You never close doors! You open windows without the mosquito protection on, you never switch the lights off…Do you want me to carry on?” She stared at him openly, almost accusingly. “You knew there were cats, mice, mossies, snakes - you knew they could get in, and would, given the chance.”

The Open Forest Road

“No! That's wrong, it can't possibly be!"His eyes saw it, but his mind screamed in denial; it couldn’t… wouldn’t… accept what he was seeing.

About this title

About the Author

I was born in Ipswich Suffolk and at six years of age my parents moved us to Gillingham in Kent. From there we moved to Southampton in Hampshire. I started writing at an early age, but only recently began to write seriously. I have a book of children's stories, fully illustrated and all in rhyme, called 'Hedgerow Capers' which was published by Melrose Press. I am now also writing short-coffee time stories for adults and publishing some of my poems. I have lived in Spain for the last ten years, learning the language and meeting many interesting people. I will soon be moving back to England to be closer to our growing family. My first book Hedgerow Capers is available on Amazon and in all good book shops.
