About the Authors

Nele Neuhaus was born in Muenster, Westphalia and raised in Paderborn. She has been living in the Taunus region since her childhood and has been writing just as long. Her crime thriller series with investigators Oliver von Bodenstein and Pia Kirchhoff is set in the Vordertaunus region. The large Berlin publisher Ullstein discovered her and took her under contract. Before that, it was self-published. The series made her one of the most widely read crime writers in Germany. Her Taunus crime thrillers have so far reached a total circulation of 3.5 million copies, the rights have been sold to 20 countries, including Italy, France, Spain, Holland, Korea, Russia, Brazil, Poland, China, Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece and the USA. The author lives with her partner and her dog in the Vordertaunus region.

Nicholas Bell is an English actor who has worked in Australia for more than 20 years. He attended the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London and has performed in many theatre productions in London and Australia including Romeo & Juliet. Nicholas' television appearances include Inspector Morse, Frontline, Stingers, Blue Heelers and The Games which won the TV Week Logie for Most Outstanding Comedy Program in 2001. Films Nicholas has appeared in include Mission Impossible, The Craic and Shine.

Steven T. Murray (born 7 October 1943) is an American translator from Swedish, German, Danish, and Norwegian. He has worked under the pseudonyms Reg Keeland and McKinley Burnett when edited into UK English. He translated the bestselling Millennium series by Stieg Larsson,three crime novels and two African novels by Henning Mankell, three psychological suspense novels by Karin Alvtegen, and works by many other authors. In 2001 he won the Gold Dagger Award in the UK for his translation of Sidetracked by Henning Mankell.
