The author lives in a small town in Maine. She has been married for 38 years and has two grown children and four grandchildren. She worked in the early childhood field for 28 years and gained experience and knowledge of what children enjoy about books. She wanted this—her first book—to be geared toward their interest. Mrs. Wilson loves reading to children, having children read to her, and now she will have the satisfaction of knowing she has written a book that will be enjoyed by children and hopefully foster a love for reading.
