This book presents aspects of the life and work of the Prussian-Jewish composer Moritz Moszkowski (1854–1925). It includes a recollection on Moszkowski written by his piano pupil Bernhard Pollack (1865–1928), who was Professor of Ophthalmology at Friedrich Wilhelm University and a world-class pianist.
