About the Author

Nelson Ward Bailey, aka Sam Bailey, born August 3, 1936, Damariscotta, Maine, son of two teachers, brother of two sisters, friend of four cats and one dog... Married Carol Sideris, July 1962, who died after a long illness February 2009. Daughter and one son live with their families in New Hampshire, another son and his family are in North Carolina. Five super grandsons and two delightful granddaughters. Attended Boston University, graduated from Wesleyan University and Fairleigh Dickenson University. After practicing dentistry for 42 years, retired November 2012. Wrote a few poems in the 1960’s, nothing more until a few years ago. Never published. 2308 Crystal Terrace N.
