About the Author

An 8 Time Coach of the Year, Coach Kevin Sivils has spent nearly 30 years in the coaching profession as a high school varsity coach, compiling nearly 500 career wins, and as an assistant coach at the college and high school levels. A graduate of Greenville College, Coach Sivils later earned his MS in Sport Psychology from Louisiana State University. In addition to coaching basketball, Coach Sivils has been a history teacher for 29 years, teaching U.S. History, World History, History of World War II, History of the Vietnam Conflict and American Government. An author of over 20 books, Coach Sivils is happily married to the former Miss Lisa Dian Green. They are the proud parents of three children, Danny, Katie and Emily, and have two dogs, Angel and an Italian Greyhound named Berkeley.
