Synopsis
Kenneth Rankin is tired of life-or maybe just women. A recently divorced Christian father of two adult children, Ken is now heading into his fifties lonely, broke, and in need of a place to live. As he attempts to start a new life, there is one thing Ken knows for sure: he will never fall for a superficial, loveless woman again.
While searching for a house to rent in Sacramento, Ken's path crosses with that of Carolyn Beason, a divorced accountant who owns the rental next door to her home. After she agrees to rent the house to him, Carolyn cannot believe her luck. Ken is a beautiful specimen of a man who reminds her of her youth. Although both are not seeking to marry again, Carolyn and Ken soon cannot deny their obvious chemistry. As Carolyn steps in to help Ken with a job on the Navajo-Hopi Indian Reservation, they find themselves falling in love.
