About the Author

Sara Rust grew up overseas and returned to the United States to complete a film degree at Northwestern University. Following graduation, she moved to southern Illinois where she was involved in community development as a missionary. In 2009, Sara moved to Redding, California to complete a Master’s in Education and spend time teaching scores of action-packed third and fourth graders. Storytelling has woven its way though every chapter, and has now, after much patience, won a more prominent place in her life. Sara is an innovative storyteller of page, stage, and screen, who journeys through life catching stories where they fly.
