Paul Wagar trained as an actor in London, England, and worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Stratford Festival in Canada, and the New Shakespeare Company, with whom he toured India and Sri Lanka. He was the Artistic Director of Toronto Repertory Theatre, Philadelphia Area Repertory Theatre, and Ark Theatre Company in Los Angeles. He taught for nine years in Oxford, England for the British American Drama Academy, was head of Voice at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, teaches a Shakespeare class in Hollywood for Theatre of Arts, and is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Theater, Film, and Television at UCLA.
