Synopsis

This book is written with Christians principally in mind, folks whose spiritual life has been nurtured by the sacraments. The Christians I have in mind are also seeking a practical way to enter more deeply into the sacred mystery of the divine presence on a daily basis in their walk-about lives. The sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Penance and Eucharist are considered from the viewpoint of the method they reveal for developing an habitual state of mind and heart that gives entry into a deeper daily connection with the mysterious presence of the divine in all things.

About the Author

Robert Colacurcio has been blessed to have had excellent teachers all throughout his life. His parents insisted on the diligent application of all his talents that they suspected were latent. The Jesuits gave him the best they had to give, and he gave them eleven years of his life preparing for, though not receiving, ordination. He earned a doctorate in philosophy from Fordham University. His love of learning led him to also deeply explore the wisdom of several Eastern philosophic and spiritual traditions. He lives happily on a mountain top with his wife, Carol Jo, and rejoices daily in his children, his grandchildren, and in being himself a child of the universe.
