Synopsis

This is a complete and easy to follow, step by step guide to emergency preparedness for people who aren't going to dig a 50 food deep lead-lined shelter in the backyard, stockpile an armory, or go to other extremes. We've all seen some of the extreme Preppers on TV. This is the Prepping guide for the rest of us. You will find out exactly what to get, why to get it, where to get it, and what to do with it, with plenty of alternatives to meet your specific needs no matter where you live or at what point you're starting at. Covering everything from food and water all the way to personal defense and security, the instructions in this book will show you how to comfortably get through many weeks, or even months, in the event of a major emergency event where the power is off and the supermarkets are empty. Written by a former police officer and a long-term consultant in the power industry, this is a reasonable and rational guide that just may save your life, and the lives of your family (and don't forget the pets) someday.

About the Author

Mr. Tuchman is a former police officer, has served in the military, and has spent many years as a consultant in the power industry. His inside knowledge of the power industry has led him to conclude that a widespread outage that can last from several weeks to many months is a credible scenario. That, and all the other possible disaster scenarios that are possible, has led him to become a Prepper. He will quickly and easily lead you through all the reasonable and useful things he has learned about prepping over the last couple of years as he presents a simple, step by step guide to becoming independent and self-sufficient in the case of a long term power grid failure and all the other emergency scenarios that go with it, from empty supermarkets to civil unrest.
