Synopsis

This unique book offers today's readers an update on Mark Twain's Letters from Earth, as Satan once again reviews the curious lives of humankind; this time, fallen archangel Satan directly addresses God rather than (as in Twain's volume I) the other archangels Gabriel and Michael. Certainly Letters from Earth, Vol. II, will appeal to some of the many fans, scholars, and students of Twain (and, as a valuable literary experiment and tribute, may even inspire others to pen their own letters in the voice of Satan). Further, it can appeal to anyone who thoughtfully observes the human condition and understands that humor can offer the best lens through which to do so.

About the Author

Satan, educated in Heaven millions of years ago, was reputed to have led a revolt against God and, after being defeated, was banished to Hell. However, these events were created by John Milton in his fictional book Paradise Lost. In reality, Satan has been touring the universe and reporting back to God on His creations. This book is a collection of fifteen letters Satan wrote to God in the early 21st century regarding how God's "human experiment" is progressing on Earth. Satan currently resides in the outer reaches of space and is unavailable for comments.
