O sees the beauty of another,
Though another may not see
Look into their heart,
Where the beauty is bright
And then you'll see no other

      Reunion

      * * *


    Remember when, of a time gone by,
    150 years to be exact
    When for us, our high school days seemed "WOW"
    For our teenage years so long ago

    To bring back the memories, of the teachers we had
    Some gone, so sad, for Mr. Coull my favorite
    Our coaches of teams, that won our titles,
    Of football, basketball, volleyball and track

    Now something brought back, of an unknown feeling
    Of a love once knew and now again, heart felt
    She and I, may see a future some day
    Only time will tell, Thank God for reunions

    Back to the friends, of so long ago
    Aging with grey, some big changes for some
    Do you recognize me, one asked, still looking
    My football team mate, had to look real close
    To see the man, the boy of my teenage years

    The dances, the parties where all so grand
    And now an eternity of time, has seemed to have gone by
    Our love of our school, will always be known
    For our city Niagara Falls, Stamford C.V.I. will rule on

To hold her hand, to walk with her
To see her smile, to hear her laugh
To kiss her, with such desire
To hold her in my arms, to feel her warmth
To fall asleep, in each other's arms
To share the wonder, of what life will bring us
To know one day, that our hearts are one
To live and love like no other
To know at last that fate has won.

      Our First Kiss

    I want to kiss you,
    Were her words

    The soft touch of our lips,
    Pressing harder,
    As our tongues begin to intermingle

    Nowhere to put our hands,
    But around each other

    Sensations flowing,
    Deeper and deeper,
    From head to toe

    And my head started to spin,
    I wondered, was hers?

    We continue for what seemed like forever
    Then we sat on the couch,
    Only to continue

    Feeling each other's soul,
    Through the embrace,
    Through our kiss

    Too sad, for the night had to end,
    Too bad it couldn't continue,
    But alas, what a first kiss, again!

      You Grabbed Me

    That day you grabbed me, the 16th
    You pulled me out of my seat,
    Interrupted the movie,
    Interrupted my thoughts

    Trying to forget,
    Your flight, your trip,
    Without me

    You arrived, then called,
    We talked several times
    And we missed each other

    Time passed
    And on your way back,
    You grabbed me again

    How did you do that?
    You weren't here,
    But your presence was within me

    A feeling, a connection like no other
    Part of fate, part of us,
    Maybe God like, maybe his way of telling us

    A realization, of why I still love you,
    Even now after all this time

      What is Romance?

    Romance is holding hands, while walking through the park
    Romance is embracing, while watching for shooting stars
    Romance is dancing in the moonlight, and kissing so
    touchingly
    Romance is a dying art, but shouldn't be forgotten.

    To embrace and kiss for no reason, but only to be near
    To look into each other's eyes and feel the love that's shared
    To know whom ever, is home first, you'll be greeted
    with a kiss
    Romance is a dying art, but shouldn't be forgotten.

    Romance is whatever you'd like it to be,
    That touches one heart and is never ending
    To say I love you and feel your heart beat faster, just
    because you've missed her
    To know when you're alone, two becomes one in a soul
    embrace
    Romance is a dying art, but shouldn't be forgotten.

    Romance can be just little things, no matter what maybe
    Flowers, an embrace and kisses, can you think of more?
    For more means, you haven't forgotten
    And at last, Romance is a dying art, but now will you let it?

      Love Has No Boundaries

    Has there ever been a love like ours, for as far as the eye
    can see?
    Have you ever seen the wind blow, when it's only a breeze?
    Like the wind our lives take many turns, when you
    least expect it to
    But love has no Boundaries, when the love is true for you.

    One February day, we met once again, unexpectedly
    And found all fond memories, from the many years before
    Our love was new and just beginning, and feeling so
    demure
    But love has no Boundaries, when the love is true for you.

    The love I found in the things she'd done, though she
    never knew
    Her eyes so blue, spoken words not said, of joy and our
    love
    Our hearts, our souls, are like one, but reality comes to view
    But love should have no boundaries, when the love is
    true for you

    With boundaries built from long ago, our friendship is
    so grand
    But even with those boundaries built, our hearts fell in love
    I'll Love her always, I know for sure, at least life has
    that in store
    Cause love should have no boundaries, when the love
    is true for you

      Special Delivery

      * * *

    Everything was a blur,
    When the doorbell rang

    A special delivery,
    So late at night,
    No it can't be; it's her

    With my eyes in tears, she's standing there,
    Yelling surprise!

    How can this be, in my ah struck way
    My heart is in wonder, my arms wrapping round
    To hold her, to kiss her and to never let go
    With a kiss, that seemed like forever!

    We stopped, but a moment, to run down the hall
    Throwing all attire, to where it may land

    Now I can't describe, all our feelings that night,
    But believe me when I tell you, it was one hell of a night

    No hell it wasn't, but love it sure was,
    With lust of loving and loving lust

    I'll never forget, that night for life,
    Because that was the beginning, of what I hoped, our
    new life!

      The Cracked Mirror

      * * *


    She told me I have nice eyes
    I laughed, she's so beautiful herself
    She doesn't see it, for she forgot to look
    To her, the mirror is cracked

    To others, they see the faults
    The faults they don't see in themselves
    I can only see, what it is I see
    The beauty the others don't

    Is she so different, from all of us?
    Not really, cause we're at fault
    For the faults that we don't see,
    Make us the so called bad guys,
    Who make her flee!

    If we're not loved, do we not deserve,
    The love of another and them of me?
    For now I've found, the love in this woman
    But still she sees, that cracked mirror

    For her to relieve, the pain of that mirror,
    She'll have to buy a new mirror
    To see the beauty, that she really is
    And for all, to see her too

    In my experience of the past,
    We speak before we think
    So we should think, about our own past,
    Before our mirror is cracked.

      In The Dark

      * * *


    Its dark out, I can't see!
    Do I turn right? Do I turn left?
    Do I go back? Do I go forward?
    I don't know! I'm afraid!

    I tried going right and I couldn't move,
    I tried going left and I still couldn't move,
    My feet felt like they were trapped in quicksand.
    Why can't I move? I'm afraid!

    Going back didn't seem right,
    But was all I could do!
    Seeking answers, but none could be found
    She wasn't talking!

    Counseling I thought, I went on my own
    And then we went together
    We cried, we hugged, and I thought there was progress
    And now she says, we don't need counseling.

    I went alone and after time,
    I'd found there were no choices
    No right, no left,
    No going back

    Now only forward!

    A dim light appeared, after time I found
    And I found, I'd done the right thing

    In leaving, was happier, but still felt scared,
    But easier as time went by!

    The light got brighter
    With my past still present, but still I'd moved on
    Though leaving felt wrong,
    It was my right!

    A right or wrong, it's our choice

      You're Path

    To find your path, you have to search
    Deep within your heart!

    Which way to go, is up to you
    And no one can tell you which

    Now when I met with her, so long ago
    And I kissed her in the park
    I didn't know her like I should,
    But now she has my heart

    To live the life that you were born,
    You choose the path ahead
    Don't stop until you make the grade,
    To the life, you want to live

To see the laughter,
To see the joy,
To see their smiling faces

Isn't that what life's all about,
This Christmas and the past

The kids all playing, with their toys
Outside and in the snow
Building castles, building snowmen
And building memories for their future

Now as a parent, it's nice to see,
Our children growing up

With smiles and the laughter
Each hour, each day, all year

      Week-End Visit

    A week-end visit
    Lead more, to than just my new apartment

    We walk hand in hand up the stairs that night,
    Only to part, to our own rooms

    I sat on the edge of my bed,
    Hoping she'd come to me
    And a sigh comes over me, as she entered the room

    We embrace, partially clothed
    Not to make love, but to hold one another in each
    other's arms

    Lying passionately together,
    I can sense by my touch, only a touch
    I see a tear,
    As she remembers what was, has not been forgotten

    In time we part, to sleep in our own rooms,
    Always it seems in separate rooms
    Till one day, hoping things will change

    The morning comes and I'm at her door, I watch as she
    breathes softly
    She wakes, we cuddle and embrace more tightly,
    To greet the morning sun

    I know to be with her, would be heaven
    Love, warmth, passion and companionship,
    All in one!

Shadow of a Man

When I look into my mirror,
I can see no reflection
Am I here, is this real?

I try to understand what this means,
But nothing comes to mind

Then a shadow in the mirror, begins to form

It takes shape and it's not me
It's you, my hearts desires
What has seemed like a dream, you've come to me

Almost Christmas and now I know,
I'm missing you
My heart's desire, wishing you were here

Not being with you, has made me feel
A shadow of myself

I can only be me, when we're together
I'm sad, but not as sad as the time before you
For I will live and grow stronger,
Knowing you're now, part of my heart

For Always

    What kind of present do you like,
    Birthday or maybe Christmas?
    I like the one that I can give,
    That's anytime, for no reason.

    Stories are written from the imaginations,
    Or can be written from the heart
    So when I scribble, the lines set before you,
    What is it that you see?

    Like presents given for no reason,
    Or stories from the heart,
    I see my heart that's wide open
    And can be vulnerable to the world!

    Protected, only when it wants to be
    But not when it comes to you!
    I'm vulnerable to, my love of life
    And the love of my life, is you!

    Tell me My Love, what do you see,
    From all the lines that are written?
    Like presents and stories that are from the heart,
    That's all you'll get from me!

    I take you, My Love
    To honor and cherish,
    To grow old with, To Love,
    To hold in my arms, in sickness and in health, each and
    every day
    To kiss, to never let go, to give all of my heart,
    To let you know, that on this day, our hearts are more
    than just one, who souls have been blown together by
    the wind, for this sole purpose of LOVE!
    You are my one fate, that has been chosen and will
    always walk beside me, hand in hand

    This is my vow!
