He switched to pharmaceutical research. His graduate studies at Masters and Ph.D. levels were in chemical toxicity and analytical medicinal chemistry. Dr. Gouda is a renowned research chemist with several analytical S.O.P.s named after him. The combination of his initial medical training, along with his extensive analytical chemist qualifications, has given him a unique ability to see beyond what a mere chemist or M.D. could see.
