About the Author

H. Merlot is a graphic artist with a BFA in Classical Animation, currently living just outside of Los Angeles. When she's not going on dates, eating small pizzas, and writing autobiographical comics that quite possible are only funny in her head, she's busy paying back student loans, misquoting nineties movies, reading classical literature, and getting very, very drunk. She also has a real career that doesn't involve comics, and sometimes Merlot wakes up in the middle of the night screaming and terrified that this abomination might be discovered by her peers and clients, and traced back to her. But fortunately, as an only child, Merlot knows how to self-soothe, and in spite of her fear the vodka will eventually let her fall back asleep. This is her first graphic novel.
