About the Author

Sarah Bush is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Temple University, Philadelphia and a Senior Fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute. Her research focuses on democracy promotion, non-state actors in world politics, and gender and human rights policy, and has been published in several journals, including International Organization and International Studies Quarterly. Dr Bush was the 2014 winner of the Deborah Gerner Grant for Professional Development.

Nicola O Byrne was born in Swaziland. She studied illustration at Edinburgh College of Art and is now in London working toward a master's degree in printmaking. Nicola can usually be found in a bookstore or a coffee shop drawing the people around her.

Julie Ingham produces designs and illustrations for fashion, books, stationery, and tableware around the world. She is inspired by intricate patterns and works hard to make each of her illustrations unique and exciting. Julie loves to draw at her home by the sea in the south of England.
