About the Author

Jackie Ellermann has experienced first hand the challenges of caring for her husband, John through a devastating illness, and the joy of his subsequent recovery. Born and raised in Kearny, NJ, Jackie has been married to John for 34 years. She is a retired administrative assistant who has held many leadership roles. Those include scouting, Order of Eastern Star of NJ, Ladies Auxiliary of Knights Templar, PA, and Social Order Of Beauceant. Jackie has volunteered with Yokefellow Prison Ministry where she ministered to incarcerated youth for 10 years. She is a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church, Allentown, PA. Jackie resides in Allentown, PA with her husband, John and twin sons.
