About the Author

About the Author Pastor Garrick Bridgeforth was born in Brooklyn, orphaned of a father and lived in a group home away from his biological mother for twelve years. Times were tough on him during the teenage years, living in abandoned buildings and partaking in drugs, evil-inspiring music, alcohol and casual relations with women. In 1995, Pastor Randolph Ferdinand of the Helping Hands Ministry saved him from his wayward ways and introduced him to God. After much hard work and study, he attained an associate's degree in Management and a bachelor's degree in Science of Religion, and became a pastor in the House of Prayer. God called him to help the faithful in understanding the words of the Holy Bible, and that has become his life's vocation. He is married to his loving wife Noreen, and they have a son.
