About the Author
Dr. Vijay Pabbathi is a human anatomy lecturer and supervises research projects at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC), Bournemouth, UK. Vijay's background is multidisciplinary. He studied M.Sc in Advanced-Neuro and Molecular Pharmacology at the University of Bristol during 1994-95. He finished his PhD in Cardiac Physiology at the same university during 2002. Prior to his work at the University of Bristol, he studied for his degrees in Biology and Veterinary medicine in India. While he was at Bristol, he had many opportunities to work in drug discovery projects. His innovative techniques of combining the molecular, chemical and clinical data allowed him to collaborate with a number of pharmaceutical companies. During 2005, he decided to change his career to a medical teacher at the AECC in Bournemouth, Dorset, UK.
