About the Author
D.L. Gilbert holds multiple degrees in Literature and Science on undergraduate and graduate levels as well as a medical degree. Gilbert is the President and Clinical Director of Millbach Orthopaedics. A Martial Artist and International Full Contact Karate Judge, he is also a former U.S. Marine, expert in the use of all manner of small arms and hand to hand combat. He was appointed by former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge, as Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission Medical Advisory Board, a position he held for ten years.
