Lastly, it clarifies and emphasizes collaboration among inmates, families, criminal justice personnel, stakeholders, and policy makers.

About the Author
Omar S. Garrison is a former law enforcement officer and a military soldier. He has a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and a Master degree in Criminal Justice. He is currently a member of the National Coalition of Independent Scholars (NCIS), and The American Society of Criminology (ASC).
