Quenntis was born in Durban, South Africa. Received his Bachelor's degree in English and Drama. His second Bachelor's degree in Music, specializing in Dance. Danced for Cape Town City Ballet and then Cats: The Musical World Tour briefly before retiring in 2003. Left South Africa to teach English full-time in Taiwan. Writes every day.
