About the Author

Jim Fetter was born in Munich Germany in 1955, his father in the U.S Army at the time. Jim has been painting in watercolors since 1976, and has painted hundreds of portraits for people all over the world via his Internet web site. Jim has worn many hats in the field of art, like Logo Creation, Magazine Illustration, Product illustration, T-Shirt Design, Portrait Painting, and in 1995 he illustrated over 200 black and white pen and ink drawings for the Sobriety Training Institute in Portland, Oregon for a children’s drug prevention program that is now used in 25 states to help kids understand what drugs are, and how to avoid them. Jim's work was showcased on PBS television art show in March 2003. " Watercolors to me , are like painting with stained glass". Jim’s paintings are bright, colorful and strong, and that’s the way he paints. He wants his paintings to reach out and grab you as you walk by……………….and they do!
