About the Author

Karen L. Simpson is a native of Detroit, Michigan. She comes from a large family. She has eight sisters and one brother which she is number seven out of the ten. She is also the mother of a teenage daughter, Lauren. Karen attended Western Michigan University and Shaw College. She has an Associate of Science Degree and a General Education Degree. She has worked for the Government for twenty four years. Karen has always had a love for writing but had a case of writers block after the death of her mother, Alberta Lois Allen. Several attempts were made over the years to try and regain her writing, but nothing happened. Twenty years later she had a dream that was so profound; she was compelled to write it down. The next day she began writing and has continued to write every since. Karen has written several other books and they were all derived from her dreams. She is a devoted Christian and attends New Way Christian Community Church in Detroit, MI. God is her ultimate inspiration and he has inspired her to keep writing and to share the gift that he has given her with the rest of the world.
