About the Author

Al began magic in 1960 in Detroit, Michigan. His mentors were many of the magicians in that area. In 1960, Al created the Matrix coin effect. In 1972 it was published in Genii magazine. It spread through out the world as one of the leading coin effects magicians perform. Al went on from there to create a number of new magic principles and publish a number of magic books that have been sold around the world. Al has also developed a number of DVD’s with L&L Publishing Company. In addition, Al has lectured and performed at many magic get-togethers in America and Europe. Professionally, Al is a computer programmer and enjoys a diverse set of hobbies ranging from karate to skiing
