About the Author

Lani Silversides teaches and coaches at Phillips Academy Andover where she holds the Lumpkin Instructorship in the department of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. She also runs her own business called My Strong is Beautiful, LLC, now Mindful Performance, LLC. This company works to create resources and programming for young girls to empower and inspire them to play sports and be physically active. She lives in York, ME, USA.
